Q: I have curbed my Christmas shopping this year.

I have always shopped early for Christmas presents, because I lived 2,500 miles from my family.  However, I dsicovered a charity where I can give everyone shares of useful animals for people who have nothing, and it is still self-rewarding.  I can spend as little as $10 per purchase. I checked out the charity on bbb.org and it s for real. So impulse shopping is a sympton of ADHD?

Thank you for your question and welcome to ADHDCentral.com.

Many adults with ADHD have difficulty with impulsive spending and budgeting their money. You are not alone in this.

How wonderful, however, that you have found a solution to this problem this holiday!
