Q: Do you know of clinics or doctors who help those whithout insurance

Hello, I am trying to find out information for my grandson who is just 19 year's old.  He does not have insurance so he needs to find a clinic or doctor in Phoenix Arizona who can help to test him work with him on this that he can afford?

Also do you have support groups for ADHD in each state?

Hi Missie,

You've picked the perfect time to write in! Tonight there is an event that is going on that will allow you to call in or write in to ask questions about ADHD. This week is National ADHD week. You can read about the event here, but basically Ty Pennington from Extreme Makeover is working with the ADHD Association to provide experts who will answer questions TONIGHT. September 17th from 8pm to 12pm Midnight. Here is the full article explaining Pennington's involvement. Perhaps you can call in and get an expert to answer some of your questions about your grandson.

Afterwards, check with your county's health office to see what they can offer your grandson in the way of state or local programs. The health department office would be where you go to get a chest xray or your certificate of health if you worked in a restaurant. It is possible he might qualify for medicaid too if you call social security.

Don't give up! I hope things work out well. Please stay in touch!
