I understand completely your frustration.  I kept my decision to put my daughter on medication private from family.  The undenialble truth about her diagnosis was more than evident in the immediate change in behavior and concentration.  She became so enjoyable to be with, confident, and responsible, there was really no way for them to doubt what her pediatrician and I had already known.  Besides, the only thing that mattered to me was that my daughter did not become sad statistic of an undiagnosed child with ADD.
