Alejandra, I am not sure from your question if the doctor increased the medication before or after this incident. If you have not already, please call your doctor to discuss this behavior with him. There is more information on Focalin here. It does state in this information that the normal dose is 20mg or less. It also states that for mental or mood changes, you should contact your doctor immediately. Please let us know how it is going. Eileen
