Sunday, March 22, 2009 Chris asks

Q: I think I received the wrong pills when filling my Methlyn script - they don't look like the photos.

My new script of Methlyn doesn't look like what I've been taking, nor like any of the photos on your website.  Instead, they are green and say 790 on one side and ZS on the back.  Should I call the doctor or pharmacy?  I took one and fell asleep; this has not occurred with my old ones that I've been taking for over a year . . . those keep me awake.

You should go back to the pharmacy and discuss this with the pharmacist. He or she would be best able to determine if your prescription was filled incorrectly.

There is a pill identifier on drugs.com but I would go back to the pharmacy as well as notify your physician.
