Eileen Bailey began her quest for information on ADHD fourteen years...

Thank you for your question and welcome to ADHDCentral.com. I am not very familiar with this medication (and I am not a health professional). I did do some searches but was unable to find very much information on using Topamax in order to get high.

Since this is a medication prescribed for migraine headaches, you might want to try asking your question on the migraine site at HealthCentral.

It's not so much that you can get high off of it, but it gives you a sence of paresthesia, or "pins and needles". The effects of it are less and less as the older you are, so if she's decently young, it gives them that feeling as well as somewhat as a light-headed feeling.

If she's taking more then she needs to at once, then it takes away from concentration, making it hard to keep a convorsation and clearly hear what people are saying to them.

I really hope this helped. :]
