I've been given a choice between Focalin IR 20mg or Adderall IR 60mg? Has anyone every been on one these? Which one has better results? My ADD issues are focus and organization. Plus, I have no motivation or energy to complete anything in life. By the way, the doctor started me on 40mg of Strattera at night, this is my 3rd night -- when will I start to feel the effects? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, there is no exact answer to your question. Different people will react differently to medications so what works well for one person may not work well for you. Finding the right medication, and the right dosage, is often a matter of trial and error.

adderall is very expensive and also can be addicive, moreso than focalin, but i prefer using adderall at the moment.
