My son is 12 yrs. old, has ADHD and is Bipolar. Any suggestions on a way to curb his behavior?

While in a hyper episode, he has a tendency to hit me.  He is a big boy.  He is almost six feet tall (taller than me.)  My son in on medication to try to help him and control his moods.  His doctor has also suggested that he is suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress…
