I am sorry you are having a difficult time right now. Good luck in your job search!!

You can contact the Partnership for Prescription Assistance for information on getting your medication at a reduced price or free.

I previously posted information: Free or Low Cost Medication, with information that explains this program and how to request assistance.

I hope this helps.

Since you are unemployed, you should be eligible for you states medicaid program. Go to the welfare office and apply. Are you disabled? If so, apply for social security disability. Until then- the applications may take awhile-contact the makers (drug company) that makes Adderall. They have many assistant programs so you can get your medication either free or at minimal cost. Hope this helps.

Hi Albert,

If you are taking the generic Adderall XR, I can't understand why you are being charged $600.

I've heard the price for generic Adderall XR is about $12 for a 30-day supply. Have you tried Wal-Mart or Costco?

Please know, though, that generics can be tricky when it comes to stimulant medications. If you notice a different (unsatisfactory) reaction, ask the pharmacy for the name of the manufacturer.  Some are more reliable than others. So, it makes sense for you to keep track of which ones might work best for you.

Good luck,

I am trying to find Adderall XR in the generic form and it is still $150 everwhere I look.  Has anyone actually found a program for low income individuals that is $12 per month?  I have not found one.  Please help!!
