What tips can you provide for working successfully with a boss who displays ADD characteristics?

My boss has not been diagnosed but certainly appears to have ADD based on his behaviors (my sister has it so I am somewhat familiar). What can I do to make my efforts to work with him more productive? I like my job but it is really hard to deal with him sometimes.
