i personally thinks she has a real problem, last nite she couldnt get off the floor and smashed her head in the bathtub when she fell off the toilet..then she asked me for her bottle of wine that she fills... a water bottle after all of that..and took 6 pills with it...I think she needs help what do you think
Q: my roomate is on depakote and gets smashed every nite should she be drinking alcohol with this drug.

You are right to be concerned. Your friend is showing signs of substance abuse problems and needs help before she inadvertently hurts herself. She should not be drinking alcohol while taking that medication.
Please ask her to discuss her problems with the doctor who is prescribing that for her. If she's unwilling to do that, then please call the 24 hour hotline for people who need the kind of help you're describing at 1-800-662-HELP (1-800-662-4357).
