Tuesday, November 16, 2010 angel asks

Q: my first kid has been diagonised with adhd we have been rethinking on having a second kid., is there a possibility that the second kid too might endup having adhd?

ADHD is considered to be hereditary. If one of the parents has ADHD, the chances of a child also having ADHD is 50 percent. This would be true for each child. Therefore, if either you or your spouse have ADHD, each child you bear would have a 50 percent chance of developing ADHD.
