Q: are there negative consequences of a 3 yr old o zonisamide and rialin/aderall?

3 yr old daughter w/ epilepsy... now 1 yr later, (on zonisamide) horrible behaavior-lies- anger lashes- just BAD... if diagnosed w/ adhd, is meds ok w/ eplilepsy meds?

I am not a medical professional and would not be able to give you medical advice.

 

Although I am not familiar with medications for epilepsy, I have known people that have taken medications for both conditions with much success.

 

There are also a number of different medications for ADHD so possible interactions between the medications would depend on which medication was used. If your doctor determines your child does have ADHD and medication is used, you will need to discuss your concerns. In addition, your pharmacist would have additional information on possible interactions.

get her off the add meds focus on that much much later
