Can Adderall cause seizures? Is it ok for the person taking adderall everyday miss a weekend every other weekend?

I beleive it can cause problems but as long as you get their heart checked while being medicated. I dont give my boys their meds on the weekends I dont like their effects so I give it to them only on the school days they dont need the build I dont think it works just as well I feel.

Check with your Dr, My Dr told me that it was ok to miss a weekend. Also a few months after starting adderall my daughter got diagnosed with epilepsy. Seizure meds are not stopping seizures. She was recently diagnosed with Doose Syndrome. I have questioned the Dr many times about the adderall. He reassures me by saying she is on such a low dose, more then likely not. I pulled her off the adderall three days ago. She seems to be doing better. It is hard when you rely on professionals to give you the right info. If the adderall was making her epilepsy worse then it will be a little unsettling to know they kept her on it. Time will tell.
