Q: What do I use for displine for serve ADHD 10 yr old boy does not respond to taking things away.

When we take things away and give time out, he gives attitude of I don't care and next thing you know he's doing same thing to get others again. What can we use for effective disipline?

my son never responded to that. Any form of long time punishment failed.He is 27 now so most of the time I whiped his butt. That seemed to do more good than anything else, but because any form of repetitive discipline doesnt work every time so I chose only the important ones to whip him for. Even with normal kids U have to pick and choose your battles. We cant get5 them for everything they do or we would get worn out with it as they would too and not be effective. Just remember short term discipline is more effective than long. The long term only makes them forget what they R being punished for by the time its over.
