Talking non-stop can actually be a symptom of ADHD. It would be impossible to answer your question without knowing if your son talked non-stop before taking dexedrine or when he is not taking the medication. If you are concerned about this, you should speak with your physician.

Common side effects of the medication dexedrine are listed here. Excessive talking is not listed as one of these. 

There are a number of different medications for ADHD. You can find them listed here. As different people react differently to different medications, there may be a period of trial and error to determine the correct medication and the correct dosage for your son. Many times physicians will start a patient off on the minimum dosage and then slowly increase as needed.
