Q: What type of Dr. would I need to see to get checked I'm 49 & from childhood had poor academics

I've tried hard to acheive and seems I just can't do it. I just can't seem to remember things I sturdy therefore taking test and passing is a problem. Please help me I am so tired of always receiving that failing grade.

Hi Linda,

 

You're wise to have this checked out because once you find out the reason, there more than likely will be a way to help you.

 

I would see a neuropsychologist for testing to find out what is going on with your memory and other related issues that are concerning you. You can ask your primary care physician for names or you can contact your closest teaching hospital for names of neuropsychologists.
