Hi Linda,   You're wise to have this checked out because once you find out the reason, there more than likely will be a way to help you.   I would see a neuropsychologist for testing to find out what is going on with your memory and other related issues that are concerning you. You can ask your primary care physician for names or you can contact your closest teaching hospital for names of neuropsychologists.   Hope this helps! Terry
