Thank you for your question and welcome to Health Central's ADHD Community.

I am not a medical professional and would not be able to give you medical advice.

Clonidine is a medication used to treat high blood pressure. It is sometimes also used for ADHD, chronic pain or anxiety/panic attacks. Doctors sometimes prescribe medications "off-label" which means based on experience and clinical information, the medication may help symptoms of illnesses it is not specifically approved for.

Have you been prescribed Clonodine for depression? Let us know more about why you are asking this question and we will try to find additional information.

Thanks

Eileen
