Q: how do i get my son to get going in the morning

my son has been diagnosed with severe adhd, odd, and pervasive developmental disorder-not otherwise specified. He is taking medication for his adhd and seems to do well. The trouble is in the morning he is slow getting out of bed and doing thing in a timely manner so he isn't late for school. We want him to do everthing on his own, but he constantly tries to get me to do things for him or he doesn't do things and we have to nag  and nag. We've tried to-do list that he can follow but that seems to last for a couple of weeks and he doesn't want to do it anymore. Any suggestions would be great.
