Q: where I can get help? for my son who has ADHD

 

My son is 12, he has been taking ADHD medication for the past 5 years, 2 months ago I lost my medical benefits and he has not been taking medication for 2 months, he is having behavioral problems at school, he has been suspended 2 times since this school year started (4 weeks), behavior is getting worst and worst and also grades are really low D, F.Does someone now where I can get help? . He was taking Vyvanese and respirdall

I am sorry you are having such a difficult time right now. I know it is hard to not have medical insurance when your children need medical care. There are a number of places you can go for help.

 

Most pharmaceutical companies have programs to help those who cannot afford medication or do not have prescription insurance. You can apply for assistance through the The Partnership for Prescription Assistance, which provides information on hundreds of prescription assistance programs. Hope this helps, i have ocd and was just diagnosed with adhd, and ive been in group therapy off and on for the past 6 years in PA, it was so helpful for me and my dad got support in the parent group .  Wink and rest assured there is light at the end of the tunnel. for any other need call resolve and any other resources as needed on this site. let me know how it turns out. http://www.upmc.com/HospitalsFacilities/Hospitals/wpic/services/child/Pages/children.aspx
