I was diagosed with bipolar and add. My bipolar has astivated. I take lithium but my concentation has not improved. I cannnot use wellburtrin as it is stimulating and so is ritalin. What do I do. I can;t sleep and have a low attention span. I am 64.

Strattera is a non-stimulant which is approved to treat ADHD. Other non-stimulant medications that some people find helpful are: Modafinil (Provigil), Clonidine (Catapress) and Guanfacine (Tenex)
You can talk with your doctor about these medications and see if any would be helpful for you.
