Q: What is the difference between d-amphetamine salt combo 20 mg and XR of the same thing?

Thank you for your question and welcome to ADHDCentral.com.  When a medication ends in XR it stands for "extended release." It is the same medication, but in a different form in order to slowly be metabolized by your body and last for a longer period of time.
