Abuse of stimulant medication is, unfortunately, on the rise in teenagers. Taking someone else's medication would certainly constitute abuse. Using stimulant medications can cause increases in heart rate, increase in chance of stroke, spikes in blood pressure. Of course, as you know, this medication should be taken only under the supervision of a doctor. You are right to be concerned if you are seeing abnormal behavior in your nephew.
