Q: is it safe to take adderall the week prior to surgery

I am having a pain block in my neck friday and i need to know if adderall will thin my blood. The surgeon will not do the block if my blood is thin causing a possible clot

I am not a medical professional and would not be able to give you medical advice. I think that usually doctors are looking at medications that specifically thin your blood, such as aspirin. But you should definitely let your doctor know of all medications you are taking. He would be the best person to determine if Adderall will interfere with your ability to have the surgery.
