Hi Betty

This is an excellent question to ask either the physician who has prescribed this medication or give a quick call the pharmacist.

Everyone will react differently to the various ADHD medications so it may be hard to get an exact answer.  I know it is hard though, as a parent this is one of my first questions...how long will it take before a particular medication begins working.

In the meantime here is our information about Strattera.

In addition here is the Strattera official website.

On this doctor blog, it is mentioned that it may take 3-4 weeks to reach a therapeutic level.  You are going to want to talk to your child's doctor directly, however, to get an official answer for what you can expect.

Hope this helps some.  Thank you for your question.
