Although I do not know of any specific studies addressing this issue, I have heard from other parents (and spouses) about pronography causing a problem. Some theorize people with ADHD may seek out pornography because of the need for high stimulus in order to feel aroused.

Although I understand your concern about whether or not you are addressing a symptom of ADHD, it is important that if you have set rules in your home addressing pornography, all those in your household must abide by these rules. You may want to speak with the 14 year old (with his parents present) and directly address this issue. Explain your rules, your expectations and consequences for breaking the rules.
