Am living with ADD with associated depression and behavior issues. I have read about ADD since I was diagnosed in 2005. I have taken Adderall but was changed to Wellbutrin for the depression portion of it. I am impulsive, and because of my impulsivity, I fear losing my job. When I need to be, I am attentive to my job; but when I lose track of this, my mind wanders and ultimately causes my implusivity and my behavioral problems. I just got back to working after 2 1/2 years, and I don't want to lose my job. Can I be helped before it's too late for me?

Thank you for your question and welcome to ADHDCentral.com.

It sounds as if you are currently under a doctor's care for your depression and ADHD. You may want to talk with your doctor about a referral to a behavioral therapist. This therapist should be able to work with you on developing strategies for coping and managing your symptoms of ADHD.

Some adults with ADHD also find it helpful to work with a coach to help develop strategies. You can find out more about coaching: ADHD Coaching
