Q: Is it possible for a child with behavioral problems to get a 504?

My child's grades are excellent as of right now, all A's and B's but he is still having some behavioral problems in school. I recently went to the "pre-meeting" I was not requesting special education services because of his grades but his behavior problems. Does the Section 504 only cover a child with ADHD if his or her grades are falling or can it still be covered for behavioral problems as well?
