I would suggest speaking with your daughter's doctor to find out what to expect from her medication. Some medications for bipolar disorder can cause side effects of lethargy or feeling out of it. You might want to keep a log of what medication your daughter takes each day and what symptoms you are seeing. You can share this information with her doctor to discuss your concerns.
