Reply to an Answer

Thank you for your question and welcome to ADHDCentral.com.   You certainly have the right to discuss with your doctor your concern, your feelings of not being listened to and your objections to the medications prescribed. You should always feel that your doctor is willing to listen and understand the symptoms you are describing. You also have the right to ask your doctor why he or she would choose not to have you continue on a medication you felt worked well.   In addition, if you are not satisfied with your doctor, you have the right to change doctors or ask for a second opinion.   Let me know if you contacted your doctor and how the conversation went.   Eileen
