i need someone to help me with the school system, i have gone to several meetings, they are not following the iep, my sons pscychiatrist says i need an advocate .where can i find one

Here in Wyoming we have a program called UPLift that helps me on occassion with IEPs and schools. Nationally, I am not sure but do know a place to start to track the information you need down is with http://www.ffcmh.org/ National Federation of Families For Children's Mental Health. If your situation does not fall under their area of knowledge they at least can point you in the right direction. I am sorry I do not have more but hope this helps give you a start.
