I am really sorry your son is going through this.  I know this must be so hard for the both of you.  In answer to your question though...yes...there are agencies which can help.

I wrote an article for Health Central's My Depression Connection some months ago to address this very topic and it is entitled, "How do I get Mental Health Services with No Money and No Insurance."  I would like you to take a look at that as well as the comment section as members gave information there too.  Your son is definitely not alone in this...there are many who are uninsured. 

It would be a long shot but...has your son ever considered applying for social security disability benefits?    Here is the government web page for this.  It seems most people get denied their first time in trying to get this but some have been successful upon repeated attempts.  Now this would just be in the case that your son just is unable to work due to his ADHD and/or mental health issues.  Just thought I would give this information to you as well.
