Imagynne, Your local library should have a Physicians Desk Reference (PDR) that will assist you in determining what medication you were given. Adderall is an excellent medication, but, as with all medications, response is highly individual. If you have side effects or a medical condition that is made worse by stimulants, it's better to find out at a lower dose. For comparison, when I was prescribed Adderall, I took 10 mgs. Medication alone will not teach you the skills you have not yet learned due to your symptoms and other environmental conditions. Skills are learned through books and lectures, and from mentors, counselors, and coaches. Let me know if you'd like assistance in finding a healthcare professional who can properly evaluate and treat you. Winnie, an adult ADD advocate
