Hey Imagynne, Your local library should have a Physician's Desk Reference (PDR) that will help you determine what medication you were given. Response to medication is individual. Sometimes it reduces symptoms, sometimes it causes side effects, and, in some cases, it makes other diagnosed or as yet diagnosed conditions worse. For these reasons, it's best to start with a low dose under the care and supervision of a medical professional, preferably one who is experienced in monitoring and adjusting stimulant medications. For comparison, I was prescribed 10 mgs. Adderall when I took it. Medication alone enhances functioning but will not teach you needed skills. Let me know if you'd like information on how to find a professional to properly evaluate and treat you. Winnie, an adult ADD advocate
