My nuerologist told me He can not perscribe any medication for me becase I and 58 and have lived with ADD for this long that I should manage by setting my prioroties. Is 58 to old for medication for ADD?

I am not a doctor, but have NEVER heard this. I urge you to seek a second opinion -- there are also so many different medications, that there may also be choices if there is any truth to what your nuerologist said.
But everything I've read indicates ADD can be a lifetime gift (and challenge) -- but please get a second opinion.
