What other non-stimulant drugs are available for ADHD?

Topics:Straterra

My son is on Straterra and is above his recommended dosage. When his dosage was right he was performing above average as most ADHD kids do, but his dosage flatenned and he struggled the last few months. He had bad side effects on the stimulants and I was wondering if anyone knew of any other non-stimulant drugs being used?

Hi,

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, Strattera is the only nonstimulating medication approved for the treatment of ADHD at this time. You can read more about the medications available for the treament of ADHD in this article. I hope this helps!

Best of luck,

Casey
