Hi Claudia! I just this morning landed on this little nugget of a "site" and I would just like to say, that I am also a female, and happy to tell you about MY feelings about Concerta! Just like the word is spelled..I feel as though my head is finally off the spiralling fog of clutter, and into a CONCERT! I feel grounded, and able to connect more comfortably with the millions of thoughts in my head at any give moment. I take 72 mgs. daily....2 x 36 caps, in the morning. Now of course, having said that, I also am able to decide whether or not on that particular day, I am really in need of both caps. Sometimes when I'm not required to focus and concentrate as much, if I am not planning on reading or 'trying' to sit and watch a movie, then I only need one. However, I love the settled and 'anchored' (as I sometimes call it) feeling that Concerta gives, in a very non-jolt smooth offering of 'normal pace' ability. I also was in 'guinea pig' mode with my Psychiatrist until I felt happy, relieved and grateful, with a new regiment on which I could actually "slow down, and indeed enjoy the fragrance of the roses"!!!!! I hope you trus your psych. person enough to find the peace, finally. I wish you the very best!!! Picasso Reply
