Cindy
Welcome to ADHDCentral.com.
It sounds like you are going through a rough time right now. Is your daughter still in high school? Has she been doing well up until now or has she been struggling with school and finding out she was pregnant became a "good" reason to quit?
Also, I am assuming you are indicating your daughter has quit taking her medication. It is always good to talk with a doctor before suddenly stopping any type of medication and certainly your daughter should discuss her pregnancy with her doctor. It has not yet been determined whether stimulant medication can harm an unborn child and therefore many doctors will talk to patients to weigh the benefits of continuing the medication with the possible risks to the baby.
Please let me know how everything is going.
Eileen
