hello,

It sounds like that he has built up a tollarance for it and should try another one that is out on the market.

I am not a medical doctor but the drugs that are out are so well resurched that you should be able to get a good one that will work good for your son.

Hi there,

I could not advise you medically but I can tell you a bit about my experience with my 6 year old son. He was started on Adderall XR 5 mg, within a couple of months his dosage was increased to 30 mg. I stopped it at 30, I told the doctor I was not comfortable with going any higher on that particular medication, I asked to have the meds switched. He is now on the Daytrana Patch 30mg and is doing Great on it. The Adderall did not seem to work and it was increased and things only got worse.....for him a med change was the only thing I was comfortable with at that point!! Please call his doctor to discuss this with him, if it has worked to this point that may be all you need is an increase but that is only my opinion!! :)

Take Care,

Ruthie
