I am sorry your son is having a difficult time right now. The adjustment to middle school is hard for many students, the expectations are much higher when a child reaches middle school and children can get very anxious trying to keep up.

Hopefully, this information will help you. You don't mention whether your son has an IEP or Section 504, if not, you might want to ask for an evaluation to determine if your son is eligible for services or accommodations to help him manage in school.
