Q: my son was just put on adderol and this is what happens what should i do

he is 6 years old this month and his dad has him for the summer and he said he dose is 10 mgs a day and he said my son sat there on the couch from 730am till noon and did not move a muscle, his dad says he thinks his dosage needs to be more then what he is on now. is this good that my son sits for all these hours and not move at all? is it going to hurt my son if he has his dosage higher? is this normal for my son not to interact with anyone but the tv for all them hours at a time?

my son at that age was put on redilin at that age and became lethargic. I took him off it. I couldnt stand to see him go from being a burst of energy and all boy to nothing. Since then I was told that his dose was too high. I cant say what the out come would been if we had changed the dose, only that I couldnt stand who he had become. Even in the class room he went to sleep.I dont know the difference between adderal and redilin but I think something needs to change. Either the dosage or the drug to something else.
