Hi xodec20 and welcome to ADHDcentral.   You first need to talk to your doctor about what he/she can do for you. I know that in certain circumstances, two month's worth can be prescribed, but usually, the doctor needs to get pre-authorization to do so. That won't help if you're going to be away for three months- or more.   If you are going to be in one country during the entire time, you may want to find a physician there who can prescribe the Ritalin for you. The two doctors would need to communicate your medication regime.   I've also heard of doctors sending prescriptions to patients overseas, but I'm not sure of the legality of that. You might want to contact the embassies of the countries you'll be visiting about regulations.   Also, carry a letter from your doctor stating your condition and the medication you are taking, in case you need to find a doctor on your own while out of the country.   There are online directories of ADD professionals and there is one website that focuses on non- USA resources: www.adders.org .   For other online directories of ADD specialists worldwide, try www.chadd.org , www.add.org and my own site, www.addconsults.com .   Hope this helps!   Terry
