Hi Pamster,
Strattera (Atomoxetine) is a medication used to treat attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). It works by helping to restore the balance of certain natural chemicals in the brain (neurotransmitters). Indications and dosage can be found here. Each person is different, so you should work with your doctor to determine what your dosage should be. Once you determine that, your doctor should be able to tell you how long before you should expect some results.
Remember, online sites are great resources for information so that you are able to ask the important questions that will help you manage your healthcare, however they can not take the place of your doctor's solid medical advice.
Take care and stay in touch!
Vicki M
