I just started Adderral xr 20 mgs & Im having weird side effects

My Doctor diagnosed me w/ ADHD and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. He just prescribed me Adderral XR 20mgs 1 in a.m

 

Ive noticed that it makes my arms hurt, and gets hot. Also it makes me a little hyper. But on the good side it has been helping me w/ organizing, and focusing better.

 

is my side effects normal

 

Im also taking Efferxor XR 150 mg's 1 x daily

 

Valium 10 mgs 2 x's daily

 

Trazadone for sleep

you have found good and bad if the next week the bad is still there you might need something a bit softer like concertta talk to dr about this for i found the same results from adderral and turned to concertta with better results

Thank you for your question. Although you notice some positive aspects associated with taking Adderall, the arm pain and heat is of concern. Adderall speeds up your system, so that may be causing you to get hot. However, the arm pain is not normal, and is something you may want to discuss with your doctor. As mentioned above, you may want to ask your doctor about trying something else. It's possible that you could get the same positive effects with fewer side effects.
