Hi ADHD Mommy,   Thank you for your question. Although you notice some positive aspects associated with taking Adderall, the arm pain and heat is of concern. Adderall speeds up your system, so that may be causing you to get hot. However, the arm pain is not normal, and is something you may want to discuss with your doctor. As mentioned above, you may want to ask your doctor about trying something else. It's possible that you could get the same positive effects with fewer side effects.   Best of luck, Casey
