I read your question and had to laugh. My husband talks in 1/2 sentences all the time. While it drives my children nuts, I am used to it and have been with him so long that I can usually finish the sentence. Often, he will say a half sentence and then a few minutes later finish it. So, no, you are not alone. Unfortunately, though, I don't have any answers for you other than surround yourself with supportive people who accept exactly who you are.
I am giving you some links on managing adult ADHD that might be of help:
Strategies for Managing Adult ADHD
10 Coping Mechanisms for Thriving With Adult ADHD
Tips for Success in Adult Relationships with ADHD
How ADHD Symptoms Manifest in Adults
Twenty Five Tips for Time Management for Adults with ADHD
Behavior Modification for Adults
Lots to read but hopefully you will be able to find some strategies that work for you!
