It would be impossible for me to say whether this is a good combinaton for your son. Everyone reacts to medication differently and therefore what is good for one person, may not work for another.

Your doctor would be the best person to discuss your concerns with.

I am not a doctor but a very concerned mom about all this medication.  My son took these exact two medications when he was 12 years old and had suicidal thoughts. It scared me so much as he could not share this with me until he was off the medication.  We are dealing with his ADHD without meds now.  The teachers are working with me and it is difficult at times.  But I have my sons real personality back and we are happy.  I wont say it is not a daily struggle. Please consult your doctor and watch your family closely.  God bless.  Jeanne in Mississippi
