Q: My son has ADHD.Do you think children eating sugar has an affect on there behavior?

I have noticed my son gets so hyper when he eats sugar.We have taken some sugar away from him and his teacher says she thinks it has made a differnce.Has anyone ever gone through this before?

sugar mold pesticides starch fried foods perservatives effect us all some say not all with add are sensitive for that ican only say i dont think so but if you are affected by sugar it can have very bad results do not turn to subs they are poison 1 spoon not two starch is to be avoided i love sunday night after football and knocking off a pound of choc/cherries but i had to stop monday mourning was worse than a hangover if your child is sensitive it is not an illusion

I think that when people eat surgar, chocolate, and drink coffer and other stimulates, it can make people very hyper.  So I think you taking away the sugar from him is a smart idea.

 

My name is Quinn and I thought that I should let you know that I to have ADD/ADHD.  You should maybe see a doctor as well if that doesn't work and try some medacine.

I have eight year daughter and yes taken sugar away is a very good idea.
