It is good that you are working with an educational advocate. I am sure that will be helpful as you work with the school on getting accommodations and services to help your child succeed in school.
In the state I live in, schools are not required to accept private educational evaluations and are able to have their own evaluation completed. It seems they took a long time in deciding they want to do the evaluation. What does your educational advocate say about this?

My educational advocate told me let them do their testing. So far, I have gotten nothing from the school of papers that I need to sign. Our meeting was 10/6/11. I plan to go to Chester to get the wraparound program and medicaid card so that will pay for the socialization part. My educ. consultant has also been assisting me with my other son who has ADHD as well. During the meeting, I felt personally it didn't go well, even though my educational consultant was there, because I felt the team/school was stalling on what accommodations to give my children. I even told the Asst. Special Education Director, you can be brilliant and have these issues and get good grades as well.
